Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1600226A2] Process for detachedly fixing a gripping tool (12) to a moving crossbeam (10) of a transfer press comprises passing the gripping tool into a rounded or tapered recess and pivoting with a bracket (16) to the crossbeam. Wedge surfaces on the bracket press a protrusion axially against the wall of the recess and the bracket is locked with a bearing. An independent claim is also included for a bearing arrangement for detachedly fixing a gripping tool to a moving crossbeam of a transfer press. Preferred Features: An axially moving locking bolt is guided into a bore in the bracket parallel to the middle longitudinal axis of the crossbeam.
