Openings (10-13) passing threads are constructed on the edge (18) of the casing (1) base section (15) such that the circumference (20) of each opening is formed in part, by one of the cover (5) edges (17). Thread openings are located in relation to a nozzle mounting location (22) in the casing, such that they lie in the thread entry directions (24, 25) of the nozzles. A toothed unit (35) is located inside the casing at the thread openings. The casing base and cover are reinforced near the thread openings. An inspection port (41) is provided in the cover of the casing, which is hinged (40) to the base. A thread processing machine employing this casing is also claimed.

Vorgeschlagen wird ein Gehäuse 1 zur Umhüllung einer Düse, insbesondere einer Air-Covering Düse oder einer Lufttexturierdüse 3, mit mindestens einer einen Fadendurchführungsöffnungsumfang 20 aufweisenden Fadendurchführungsöffnung 10,11,12,13 und einem Gehäusedeckel 5, der eine Gehäuseöffnung in einer Gehäusebasis 15 abdeckt, wobei der Gehäusedeckel 5 mit Deckelkanten 17 an Gehäusebasiskanten 18 der Gehäusebasis 15 anschließt, wobei die Fadendurchführungsöffnung 10,11,12,13 derart an einer der Gehäusebasiskanten 18 angeordnet ist, dass der Fadendurchführungsöffnungsumfang 20 teilweise von einer der Deckelkanten 17 gebildet wird. <IMAGE>
