[origin: EP1600695A1] A method for fitting supports, e.g. shelf supports, into a domestic oven has a fastener design for a push fit fitting which can also be pulled out when required. Each fastener comprises a shaft (16) onto which is secured a spring metal sleeve with slits to form a number of outwards bowed spring fingers (14) which grip inside a sleeved hole in the oven liner. The outer end of the fastener is threaded (28) and is screwed into a support foot (19) of a shelf support bar.
