[origin: WO2004080365A1] The aim of the invention is to provide a moving and care device for the totally disabled, with which the disabled individual can execute all motions constitutionally possible when secured therein without striking against boundaries or becoming entangled whereby being able to completely fulfil the urge to be active. To this end, the invention provides a device of this type that has a holding system, which serves to securely hold the disabled individual and which is suspended from a support in a manner that enables it to swing, said support being positioned above the holding system. The holding system (22) is designed so that it can be placed on the back of the disabled individual and can then be fastened thereto, and when placed on the individual, the suspension device is fixed to the side of the holding system facing away from the back.
