Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004078343A1] The invention relates to a method for a Re2O7 doped catalyst support deactivated (deactivated catalyst) by a hydrocarbon mixture containing C2-C6 olefin (C2-6 lot) used during a metathesis. The inventive method consists in treating the deactivated catalyst at a temperature ranging from 400 to 800 °C with an inert gas (regeneration gas K1). Afterwards, the thus pre-treated deactivated catalyst is treated with said regeneration gas K1 and an oxygen-containing gas (regeneration gas K2).
