Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004069565A1] The invention relates to a lubricating composition which can be used to lubricate an interface between a tyre casing and a safety support which is mounted to the wheel rim inside said casing. The invention further relates to one such casing and a mounted assembly for a motor vehicle which are provided with the aforementioned lubricating composition. The inventive lubricating composition is characterised in that it comprises an alkene oxide polymer (polyoxyalkene) as a lubricating agent and between 4 % and 7.5 % silica (weight percent of the lubricating composition) as a thickening agent.
