Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004078593A1] The invention relates to a method for producing packs (23) from at least two partial packs (25, 26) for one group of packs (21, 22) each of especially cuboid (cigarette) packs (20), whereby a single-piece cut (24) is folded along (embossed) fold lines (46, 47) around the group of packs (21, 22) in such a manner that opposite interior walls (27) of the partial packs (25, 26) are folded in between the group of packs (21, 22) in the shape of a V. The invention is characterized in that the substantially flat cut (24) is conveyed along a cut conveyor belt (36) and is at least partially collected during transport in such a manner that the interior walls (27) are folded in the shape of a V along fold lines (46) that are arranged at an angle to the direction of transport. The invention further relates to a corresponding device for carrying out the inventive method.
