Abstract (en)

A massaging structure having a frame (1) with a threaded rod (2) and a reciprocating moving member (40) carrying a massaging roller (4). The threaded rod being driven by a motor (3), the change in rotating direction of which is controlled by a respective micro-switch (10,11) positioned on the upper and lower part of the frame and which micro-switches are activated by the moving reciprocating member (40). The threaded rod (2) is provided, in the vicinity of its ends, with non-threaded portions (20,21) each surrounded by a coil spring (22,23) each longitudinally confined by two spring supporters (220,221;230,231). In case of failure of any of the micro-switches, further rotation of the motor will result in a jumping motion of the moving member carrying the massaging roller, such that the user will immediately notice the malfunction. <IMAGE>
