Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1602416A2] The method for the transporting of roll containers (10) for textile objects entails moving the roll containers at least partially onto a conveyor (18) which then moves on the roll containers which are standing upon it. Roll containers of different types and sizes are intermediately stored on the conveyor, preferably by a cyclic operating of the conveyor during and/or after the pushing of a roll container onto the conveyor. The conveyor is cyclically operated in correspondence to a contact-less sensing of the roll containers, preferably of the container length. An independent claim is included for a device for the transporting of roll containers for the holding of textile objects, especially empty roll containers for the accommodating of washing.
