Abstract (en)
Granulate as an insulating or separation means for high temperature applications containing Si dioxide obtained from amorphous Si dioxide powder containing at least 90% SiO 2 by granulation with addition of water and drying. An independent claim is included for a method of obtaining the granulate by mixing SiO 2 with water in solid to water ratio 1:0.25-1:1.5, and granulation and drying of the granulate, where the SiO 2 powder contains at least 90% amorphous SiO 2.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Granulate als Isolier- oder Trennmittel für Hochtemperaturanwendungen, die aus Siliziumdioxidpulver mit einem Gehalt von mindestens 90% amorphem SiO2 durch Granulierung, insbesondere durch Pelletierung unter Zugabe von Wasser und anschließende Trocknung erhältlich sind, sowie ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung.
