[origin: EP1603368A2] A section of the circuit adjusts the switch-on or inrush current to a value exceeding a response threshold of the higher order unit, during an interval (delta tL). The interval is so short that the maximum continuous current of the higher order unit is not exceeded. Where appropriate any current monitoring unit, e.g. a current cut-out or fuse, is not brought into action.
