Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004107924A1] The invention relates to a modular system for the assembly of power-adjusted supporting devices for the upholstery of seating and/or reclining furniture, especially for mattresses of beds, whereby the respective supporting device, in the assembled state, comprises at least two support elements, adjustable relative to each other, for supporting the upholstery. The inventive system is characterized by at least one first longitudinal brace subassembly (4) and at least one second longitudinal brace assembly (6) which can be detachably interlinked at a lateral distance to each other by fasteners, thereby forming a base of the supporting device, and can be non-destructively disassembled. The inventive modular system allows for the simple and inexpensive assembly of especially slatted frames.
