More particularly, it relates to the preparation of pure tolterodine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and pharmaceutical compositions that include the pure tolterodine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. It also relates to a novel 3,3diarylpropylamine derivative, referred to as tolterodine dimer.
