[origin: EP1604812A1] A folding shunt (16), a positioning roller (10), a deflection roller (9) and a pressure roller (14) are arranged, such that distance between a folding strap (8) and a folding line of a blank is made adjustable with respect to the folding line by separate adjustment devices, for guiding the folding strap. The folding strap deflects side pieces upwardly and folds the side pieces of the blank. An independent claim is included for a folding box gluing machine.
