Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a printing head assembly (1) comprising a printing head with a front side having one or more nozzles, said printing head comprising fluid ejection means to eject fluid from said nozzles. The printing head assembly (1) further comprises a moveable closure member (10) facing said front side and arranged to expose said nozzles in an active state of said printing head assembly (1) and to hermetically seal said nozzles in an inactive state of said printing head assembly (1). The closure member (10) avoids drying of ink in the inactive state and clogging up of the nozzles. The invention further relates to a system comprising such a printing head assembly (1).
