Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004065318A1] An additive for water-curable compositions which is highly effective in reducing the viscosity of a water-curable composition, e.g., one comprising a slurry of water-curable particles in water, and which has satisfactory workability even when used in the form of an aqueous solution. The additive for water-curable compositions comprises a phosphoric monoester having a specific group, e.g., an alkyl ether group, or salt thereof (monoester compound) and a phosphoric diester having a specific group, e.g., an alkyl ether group, or salt thereof (diester compound), the monoester compound/(monoester compound + diester compound) ratio being from 0.4 to 0.95 by weight (the diester compound may be a pyrophosphoric compound).
