Abstract (en)

The present invention relates to a method of self controlling and automated quantification (measures) of images and functions which have been created by molecular-biological, live imaging or other medical methods. The system permits the quantification of individual (patient-related) and/or serial (experiment-related) image (function) information. The output format can be designed by the user. The body of the system includes an internet portal, platform-independent program tools which control and operate on data (image) control, data (image) standardisation, and transfer, as well as specialised (data) image and function measuring program tools, and connected image data banks. The measurement programs provide the clients with stereological, object-oriented, and structure-related data.
