[origin: WO2004083041A1] An arrangement for use in the transfer of objects, such as bottles, to a container is formed by an upper chute (2) and an intermediate chute (3), which is slidably connected with the upper chute (2), and an ejector (4) is connected with or built together with the intermediate chute (3). In the operation of the arrangement, bottles are conveyed one at a time from a conveyor (26) to the upper chute (3), following which they slide down toward the ejector (4), where they hit a stop plate (27) with a friction coating. At the very moment that the stop plate is hit, the bottle slides off the ejector which is angled relative to the bottom of the intermediate chute. In the operation, a lifting movement is imparted to the intermediate chute. The lifting movement is performed by a motor with a crank, which ensures via a one-way clutch that the crank cannot pull the chute down, but only up, thereby imparting a stepwise, upward movement in steps of about 15 cm to the intermediate chute. In addition, the arrangement is provided with a frictional clutch, which ensures that the arrangement may be positioned manually in any position relative to the bottom, which is an advantage inter alia if a new container is to be inserted.
