Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004080839A1] The invention relates to a closing cap (1) for a container (5) such as a bottle, produced according to an injection moulding method. Said cap comprises a lower closing part (2) and a closing lid (3) which is connected to the lower part in an articulated manner in such a way that it forms a single component. Said closing lid (3) can be pivoted by means of a hinge (8) and is engaged in a rear wall (12) of the lower closing part, in the open state, a catch projection (26) also being embodied on said wall, and a catch edge (27) on the closing lid (3), said catch edge (27) moving over the catch projection (26) and engaging beneath the same in the catch state. The aim of the invention is to design one such closing cap in such a way that it is structurally simple and functionally reliable. To this end, an optionally imagined extension of the catch projection (26) cuts a vertical (V-V) through the hinge axis beneath the hinge axis (x-x) in a cross-sectional representation in the free-standing direction (z), and the catch projection (26) is embodied in a deflecting manner in the course of the advancement in the pivoting direction (arrow y) of the closing lid (3).
