[origin: WO2004078622A1] The invention relates to a suspension transport device consisting of at least one guiding rail (1) transported goods carriers (16) which are suspended to said guiding rail and movable along a transport path, and a traction system (12) for moving the carriers (16). The connection between the traction system (12) and the carriers (16) is embodied such that it is a removable in such a way that a product blockage formed along the transport path does not stop said traction system. The guiding rail (1) is embodied in the form of a sliding guiding rail. The carriers (16) are constructed in the form of sliding elements and have at least one sliding surface (30, 32) which slides along the sliding path (18) of the guiding rail during the motion of the carriers. The carrier (16) also consists of a suspension section (25) for the suspension to the sliding path (18) and a section for fixing transported goods (26), which extends downwards away from the suspension section to the sliding path (18). Said fixing section (18) is embodied mainly in the form of a hook.
