Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004083538A1] A sanitary insert unit (1), which can be inserted into a discharge fitting, comprises a substantially conical-shaped attachment screen (2) with a downstream throughflow regulator (3) and a jet regulator (4) in the direction of flow. The throughflow regulator (3) is arranged substantially inside the inner area (6) of the insert unit, which is defined on the upper side by the attachment screen element (2). The throughflow regulator (3) has a substantially cross-sectional profile whose shape is adapted to the cross-sectional profile of the attachment screen (2). The throughflow regulator (3) has a rising sloping surface (9) which rises in a radially inward manner in an outer particularly annular edge area and which leads to a control gap (10) or the same throughflow opening connected to the jet regulator (4). The rising sloping surface (9) and the attachment screen (2) are arranged at a distance from each other.
