Abstract (en)

[origin: US2011099755A1] The invention relates to a fitting for shower partition parts made of a flat material such as, glass, plastic or similar. The door elements thereof have bores which are arranged in the vicinity of a high edge in order to receive hinge plate parts. The fitting has three main components. A stationary hinge member is provided that is adapted to be fixed in the borehole of a stationary door member, and which is also adapted to receive a shiftable hinge housing with a lower sleeve unit. A hinge leaf member is provided that is adapted to be fixed to a moveable door leaf. The hinge leaf member has an upper sleeve member adapted to interlock with the lower sleeve member to allow the hinge leaf member to run on the stationary hinge member. The hinge leaf member is height adjustable within a limited range.
