[origin: EP1607353A2] The device has in the region of a winding station (2,5) of the winding device (1) for the reel (3) on a fixed base frame (15) two double-armed slide rails (12,13) which are mounted for swivel movement independently of each other and have independent drive devices (17) for the swivel movement. A transport carriage (18,19) for the winding shaft (4) is mounted on each rail movable along the entire length of the rail. Each transport carriage has its own drive.
