The adjusting device (1) has limit stops (4,5) for limiting the torsional angle between a camshaft (3) and a crankshaft. A control circuit is connected to a servo motor and configured to control the phase velocity of the torsional angle between the camshaft and the crankshaft.

Eine Verstellvorrichtung (1) für die Drehwinkellage der Nockenwelle (3) einer Hubkolben-Verbrennungsmaschine relativ zur Kurbelwelle weist ein Verstellgetriebe auf, das als Dreiwellengetriebe mit einer kurbelwellenfesten Antriebwelle, einer nockenwellenfesten Abtriebswelle und einer Verstellwelle ausgebildet ist. Die Verstellwelle ist drehfest mit dem Rotor eines Verstellmotors verbunden. Zum Begrenzen des Verdrehwinkels zwischen der Nockenwelle und der Kurbelwelle weist die Verstellvorrichtung Anschläge (4,5) auf. Der Verstellmotor ist in einen Regelkreis (6) geschaltet, der zur Regelung der Phasengeschwindigkeit des Verdrehwinkels ausgebildet ist.
