Abstract (en)
The terminal has a housing (101) for receiving insulated electrical conductors, and an electrical contact unit (200) rotatably mounted in the housing around an axis (X) perpendicular to an introduction direction of the conductors. The unit (200) has two opposite metallic cutting edges parallel to the axis to peel an insulating sleeve of the respective conductor for establishing an electrical contact with its conducting core. An independent claim is also included for an electrical installation having an insulation displacement connection terminal.

L'invention concerne une borne de connexion auto-dénudante comprenant un logement de réception (101) d'un premier conducteur électrique et un organe de contact électrique (200) monté à rotation dans ledit logement de réception autour d'un axe (X) perpendiculaire à la direction d'introduction dudit premier conducteur électrique isolé dans ledit logement de réception, chaque organe de contact électrique comprenant un bord coupant métallique (211), sensiblement parallèle à son axe de rotation, adapté à peler la gaine isolante du premier conducteur électrique pour établir un contact électrique avec son âme conductrice. Selon l'invention, chaque organe de contact électrique comprend un autre bord coupant métallique, sensiblement parallèle audit axe de rotation, positionné à l'opposé du premier bord coupant métallique par rapport audit axe de rotation, et adapté à peler la gaine isolante d'un deuxième conducteur électrique isolé pour établir un contact électrique avec son âme conductrice. <IMAGE>
