Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1609449A2] The vehicle has a frame (20) with a floor pan (16) to receive a wheel chair, and two arms (24, 28) whose one end is connected to wheels (18) and another end is rotatably mounted around two rotational axles (26, 30). The axles are connected to ends of two lateral walls. An actuator (34) controls the rotation of the arms to lower the pan at the ground level. The arms extend from the axles in a direction opposite to sides of the frame.
