Abstract (en)
The bin (3) has a base cover surrounded by lateral walls (7) defining horizontal top and bottom parts of the bin. The base cover has two inclined walls (6, 8) forming a V-shaped section. The section has a base disposed in a lower part of the bin and branches extending towards the top part while being inclined with respect the bottom part. The lateral walls are widened while contacting the base cover of the bin. An independent claim is also included for a postal item sorting machine including a storage bin.
