[origin: EP1609940A1] The device has a locking unit (7) cooperating with a static part (9) integrated with a fixed shaft of a shutter, and movable in rotation on a reel (2). The unit (7) has an axle (7a) on which a free end of a compensation spring is fastened, and a flap (7b) which cooperates with a notch of the static part during a failure of the spring. The notch is associated with an unlocking unit (11) of the flap in a descent direction of the shutter.
