[origin: WO2004091769A2] The invention relates to a method for the production of micro-capsules formed from a core of an active compound and a shell of an excipient. Said method is characterized in comprising the following steps: dissolving the excipient in a stream of a compressed fluid in the form of a liquefied gas, the active principal being insoluble in said liquefied gas and the excipient soluble therein, continuous introduction of said solution into a container (9) at a constant value with regard to enthalpy and recovery of the micro-capsules thus formed by filtration of the compressed fluid under pressure in the container on emptying the latter.
