[origin: WO2004089578A2] An articulated control arm or articulated arm of a robot, comprising motorized articulations some of which are remote-controlled by motors (15,16) placed on a base (3) in order to lighten the arm. The motors (15 and 16) are disposed side to side and control coaxial pulleys (12 and 13) with the aid of stepped bulges (24, 25) on the motor shafts (17 and 18), resulting in a compact structure.
