[origin: WO2004090207A1] The invention relates to a device for spinning and winding synthetic threads. The device has a spinning device for melt spinning the filaments forming the fibers, a cooling device for cooling the filaments, an air conditioning device for supplying cold air to the cooling device and a winding device for winding the threads onto bobbins. In order to prevent the winding of threads that are still warm, the winding components of the winding device are arranged inside an air conditioned chamber, wherein the air conditioned chamber is connected to the air conditioning device.
