[origin: WO2004090260A1] The invention relates to a supporting element for at least one rod of a rod assembly for exerting forces on a construction, wherein the supporting element comprises: - a body which is provided with at least one partially spherical cavity for receiving a pivot and which has at least one support surface which is adapted to contact the construction; - at least one pivot which is connected to a coupling and which is adapted for coupling to the rod, wherein the body is provided with at least one second cavity for a second pivot, and the device comprises a second pivot which is adapted for coupling to a second rod of the rod assembly. It is thus possible with this supporting element to exert a resultant force on a surface of the construction by means of two rods.
