Abstract (en)

The emptying unit (07) contains a collector-container (12) into which the one or more residual reels -container (08) are automatically emptied. The residual reel container can be raised by means of a hoist (04). The emptying unit is integrated at least partly in a shelving unit (02) for storing paper rolls (03). The shelving unit incorporates a transfer unit (11) connected to the emptying unit by means o f a conveyor section along which travels a carriage (19a).
