Abstract (en)

The automatic pistol has a hammer (6) rotatable around an axis (7), a drive rod (4) with a drive spring (5) to actuate the hammer against a firing pin (12). The drive rod has a head which engages a stop (11) on the hammer so that the rod can be moved from an end position (1) into a cocked position against a spring. The drive rod head can have a groove (8) which engages the stop lug (9) on the hammer.
