Abstract (en)

The terminal unit (10) has a crimp section (12), and a socket section (14) with rectangular cross-section and forming a receiving chamber for a plug. A locking projection is provided in the region of an insertion opening for the plug on opposed side walls of the socket section. A longitudinal opening extends along a longitudinal centre axis of another side walls over a length of more than half the socket section. An independent claim is also included for a terminal unit housing with one receiving chamber.
