Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004088124A1] The invention relates to a method for producing and fixing a perforated disk (20) for a fuel injection valve. Said method is characterised by the following steps: a) a flat metal plate (20') having a constant thickness is provided, b) the thickness is reduced in a region (33) of the metal plate (20') by stamping or punching, c) at least one spray opening (34) is created in the region (33) of the reduced thickness, d) the metal plate (20') is machined until a perforated disk (20) with pre-determined outer dimensions is obtained, and e) the perforated disk (20) is fixed to a valve seat body (16) of the fuel injection valve in such a way that said fuel injection valve projects past an admission region (40) of the perforated disk (20) with a lower front side (17) thereof - said admission region created by reducing the thickness of the metal plate - such that the at least one spray opening (34) is covered.
