Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004093262A2] The invention relates to a contacting device for a plug-in connector of a patch panel wherein the plug-in connector is linked with electrical and/or electronic components on a printed circuit board via conductor tracks. The contacting device is characterized by the following features: a) at least two contact patches (8, 9) configured to receive a plug-in female connector (14) are provided on an edge (13) of the printed circuit board (7), b) in every of the at least two contact patches (8, 9) every conductor track (3, 4, 5, 6) is led out through a contact surface (10) on the upper side (11) and through a contact surface (10') on the underside (12) of the printed circuit board, c) the spatial arrangement of the contact surfaces (10, 10') associated with one conductor track (3, 4, 5, 6) each is different in every of the at least two contact patches (8, 9), and d) the uppermost contact surfaces are contacted with the opposite downmost contact surfaces (10, 10') by plugging the female connector into one of the at least two contact patches.
