[origin: EP1614632A2] The pallet foot (10) for a transporting pallet has a coiled cardboard tube with a four-sided cross section as the source material and from which the pallet foot is folded. The pallet foot has load bearing sections (12) and at least one stiffening section (14), whereby the stiffening section has at least one tube-form element (16) which is formed through an inwards folded wall (18) of the cardboard tube. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a cover plate for a transporting pallet made from at least one coiled cardboard tube with a four-sided cross section; and (B) a corrugated cardboard pallet including at least one cover plate and at least two support feet.
