Abstract (en)
The inclined stair lift has an upper running rail (1) and a lower running rail (2) upon which is guided a chassis (3) which has four driving rollers (5,6), whereby two of the driving rollers with frictional engagement are braced against one of the running rails on opposite sides of this rail. Each of the driving rollers has it own drive unit in the form of a gear motor, the transmission of which is designed to be self-locking, whereby the driving roller is coupled to the output shaft of the transmission.
