Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1614780A2] Provided is a cleaning apparatus capable of removing even an attachment such as honey dew or an oil solution stuck on the outer surface of a roller with certainty to thereby clean it. A scraper member 50 extending in the axial direction of the draft roller 1 b and having a sharp end edge 50a in contact with the outer surface of the draft roller 1 b is provided, and the sharp end edge 50a of the scraper member 50 is brought into contact with the outer surface of the draft roller 1b in parallel to the central axis line 1c thereof. Further, press means for pressing against the outer surface of the draft roller 1b in press contact therewith is provided. In addition, a holder member 51 for holding the scraper member 50 is provided, and the holder member 51 is provided to bearing houses 20, 20 of the draft roller 1 b so as to be freely mounted or dismounted.
