[origin: EP1614844A2] A window or door has a single fixed surrounding frame and a series of sliding window or door frames which are linked and fold against each other. The folding action is effected by hinges with a first bearing block attached to the axis of rotation side of the outer (1) or inner (5) frame, and a second bearing block attached to the second inner (4) or outer (1) frame. A pivoting adjustment mechanism is located between and attached to the two bearing blocks.
