Abstract (en)

The operating method is used for continuous flow steam generators with an evaporator heating surface (4), a preheater (2) on the flow medium side of the surface, a device for setting the mass of feed water flowing through the generator and a control (1) for ensuring this value. The mass of water is adjusted according to the steam production desired and is controlled by measuring the density of water at the preheater inlet.
