[origin: GB2400596A] A convenience roll comprises an elongate web of paper or the like based material made up from a plurality of individual portions frangibly 'A' connected in series, each portion having an area that is less than the product of its overall length multiplied by its overall width and the length of the frangible connection being small in relation to the total with of each portion. Each individual portion may have a generally circular shape and may be folded. The web of individual portions may be folded into a stack 13 for dispensing from a dispenser 140. The dispenser may have two compartments, one for a moist stack and the other for a dry stack. Inn use, the web may be manufactured from paper and the like to produce tissues, kitchen towels, lavatory paper, hand towels, face towels, cleaning/baby wipes, disposable bibs and notepads.
