[origin: WO2004087324A1] The invention relates to a comminution device, configured as a mobile or semi-mobile unit (1), in particular for use in open-cast mining and the recycling industry. Said device comprises a loading container (2), a load conveyor device (3) for a crusher unit (7), said device being located downstream of the loading container, an evacuation conveyor device (8) for transporting away the comminuted product from the crusher unit and a support construction (4), on which the aforementioned components are fixed. The aim of the invention is to improve the efficiency of the comminution device. To achieve this, a single evacuation conveyor unit, which is responsible for both the take-off and evacuation operation, is used as the evacuation conveyor device (8), said unit being configured as a sub-assembly that can pivot horizontally and vertically in relation to the support construction (4).
