Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004089631A2] Disclosed is a printing system for printing newspapers or jobs. Said printing system is divided into a web-fed press comprising an unreeling stand (01) and one or several printing units (07) for printing a web (04) that is unrolled from the roll (02) by means of said unreeling stand (01), and a re-rolling stand (11) for winding up the web after passing thereof through the printing units (07) on one hand, and a separating device in which an unreeling stand is directly connected to the inlet of a subassembly on the other hand. A web that is printed in the web-fed press is delivered to the separating device as a roll (12) such that printing of the web and the separation process can be carried out independently of each other at different times, at different places, and/or at different speeds.
