Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004093279A1] The invention relates to a cable-routing device comprising hingedly interconnected members which can be angled relative to each other in at least two directions, are open on the face, are disposed one behind another in the longitudinal direction of the cable-routing device, and form at least one directing duct by means of radially external guiding elements. Articulated joints that absorb tensile forces are placed between hingedly interconnected members inside the cable-routing device while the members are respectively provided with corresponding articulated elements. The aim of the invention is to create a cable-routing device which is able to absorb great tensile forces and/or thrust especially in the longitudinal direction while facilitating assembly and/or dismounting thereof. Said aim is achieved by embodying at least one articulated joint (6, 7) in such a way that the members (2) and/or articulated elements that are to be interconnected or detached from each other so as to form and/or undo the articulated joint are to be joined and/or separated in a direction which encloses an angle relative to the longitudinal axis (9) of the cable-routing device.
