Abstract (en)
Wooden knockdown chair (10) comprising four substantially vertical elements, respectively two front (14) and two rear (20), functioning as legs, two rods (15) that connect a pair of elements (14, 20), a back-piece (22) and a polygonal connection and reinforcement element (13). The connection and reinforcement element (13) is provided with a plurality of cross-pieces (24, 25, 26, 27) of which at least two (24, 25) are connected to a corresponding rod (15). The cross-pieces (24, 25) are connected to the respective rods by means of at least a conical or trapezoid tooth (17), which develops for a substantial part of their length. Each of the rods (15) comprises at least a conical or trapezoid seating (16), which houses the corresponding one of the conical or trapezoid teeth (17).
