[origin: EP1616772A1] Height coordinates (h) are divided into sections (H1-H7, h1). A profile function (x e) is determined for each section and allocated to it. This function has a profile depth value nowhere in the relevant section, which in respect of the associated allocated height value, lies within the three-dimensional profile measurement. From the profile functions so obtained, a loading weight is prepared in the form of a profile (pf). This describes a functional relationship between the height coordinates and an ultimate profile depth value. An independent claim is included for a corresponding computer program product.
