[origin: WO2004094749A1] The invention relates to a plate holding device (1) which is fixed to a substructure by means of a connecting element (4) connected to the substructure (2) in a rotationally fixed manner. Said connecting element (4) comprises a connecting thread (6, 6') for connecting to a spacer element (3, 3') used to distance the plate from the substructure (2), said spacer element comprising a connecting thread (6, 6') on the end (7) thereof facing the plate, for connecting to a plate holder (5). According to the invention, the spacer element (3, 3') can be axially adjusted and fixed in relation to the connecting element (4) and the plate holder (5).
