Abstract (en)
The forming process enables the jacket-shaped sheet (2) to be given an enlarged depression, which is kept free of warps by use of a shape-retaining counter surface (42) running over the shaping shoulder (24). In one form of the process, the bent edge (4) of the sheet is supported, and the other bent edge (5) is passed through the tool (22).
